The Historical Society is incorporated as a nonprofit in the state of Georgia and has 501(c)3 status, classified as a public charity by the IRS. Contributions made to our organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

Donations made in 2026 will go toward funding our goals for the year including:

Continuing to add to the history archives, for appropriate archival quality storage containers, and for database software to catalog archived records and items to enable easy archive searches and to enable online exhibits of the archive's holdings.
Expanding history programming.
Pusuing a physical location for a history archives and research library for Johns Creek.

Donors of $25 or more receive automatic annual membership benefits.
